Meditation

I do this every night while lying in bed. This is
is also something that I do when I’m feeling
extremely stressed or when I just need to
reconnect because everything is out of balance.

If at all possible find a quiet place, it doesn’t
matter where, just someplace where you
can quiet your mind. You can do this sitting or
standing, whichever you feel comfortable with.

Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, in through
the nose, out through the mouth. Visualize that your
feet are roots reaching into the depths of the earth.
Now visualize a warm, loving and glowing golden light
shining from the heavens, entering at your
Crown Chakra (the top of your head).

Notice how the warmth of the light relaxes your
muscles as it washes away and releases
the stress. See the cleansing light running
throughout your arms, down your torso, through
your legs, and out of the soles of your feet,
into the earth.

Know that the light that is leaving you and
entering the earth, carries the stress and chaos
that has been weighing you down, leaving you feeling
renewed, balanced and at peace.

Open your eyes, or keep them closed, but just stay
there for a moment and allow yourself to enjoy this
new found feeling of balance.

This meditation can be as quick or as slow as you
make of it, it’s really up to you. If visualizing
doesn’t come easy to you, don’t get discouraged,
keep working at it…it will work.

Wow!

I can't believe it's been nearly a month since I've posted in my blog. I knew it had been awhile...but not that long! Man how time flies....when you're having fun. It's been a busy month on Etsy, and outside of it. My boys made it to the state baseball quarter finals, but got beat out. Next is summer ball, and in a few weeks they're off to an MLB scouting camp....should be interesting. I'm not sure how they feel, but I'm sure in the heck nervous for them. I'll be lucky if I have any nails left after it!

I start part time next month, long story short, car accident, back injury and haven't been able to return to work full time since (I've been temporarily part time). I'm truly thankful for my employers though...they've stuck with me through these last 4 years and have created a position so I can stay there. With the economy the way it is...still having a job has lifted a huge burden off of my shoulders.

I've created some new pieces which I've scattered around in this post, feel free to click on the picture for further information on the jewelry. You'll notice that one of the bracelets is almost exactly like the "Grow" bracelet in my previous post, I decided to make a couple more. Soon I'll be selling a copy of the spiral link bracelet with the labradorite briolette (also in the previous post). I've revamped the photos of the Beauty Within Chakra pendant, so that listing is also included here. I was a Fashion Spotlight feature at Talentdatabase.com....wow, I couldn't believe the requests and feedback from just that one feature...woohoo!

Anyways, I'll try to keep posting often, but life tends to go at it's own flow and sometimes it doesn't allow me to be on the computer as much as I'd like...darnit anyways!

Another Sale!

Yay!! Another sale....was wondering when I would have another Etsy sale and tadaa! It's my favorite pendant, with the most personal meaning to me. This is also my first International shipment, and I've just read in the Etsy forums that they (USPS) aren't allowing "jewelry" to be shipped anymore. So "fashion accessory" it is :D
I'm also really excited to have another order from a friend and Etsy customer. It'll be a first for me to make this type of bracelet, but I wanted to send Kudos to whoever was the first to create this bracelet. I'll post pics of it when I'm done!
I got an invitation to Rings & Things this weekend. I can't wait to see the choices of stones and findings they have...my favorite things to shop for!!
Anywhoey...I'm off for the night! I'll post more later.
