Mmmm....nummy!

I love ginger snap cookies. I've got an icky stomach and a headache today so my friend brought me some tea and ginger snaps. She's such a sweetie! I've sold the Spiral Bone Goddess meditation beads so I only have one set left in my store. I'm thinking I need to make more. For now here on my newest listings.

The first one is a Sterling Silver necklace with a Turquoise Goddess as the focus surrounded by Aquamarine, Topaz and Pearls.

The second is a pair of earrings with scroll style earwires. Creamy blue Chalcedony and Pearls drop from the handforged earwires.

Almost over!

It's been busy...and I feel like I'm about birthdayed (new word) out! I've been celebrating my birthday since Friday :D Not that I'm complaining, I've had a wonderful time visiting with friends and family. My boys are so sweet, they brought roses into my work today, then when I got home they gave me chocolate and a night at the movies! Today was a day filled with surprises and laughter, so it was a wonderfully magickal birthday! Tomorrow is dinner with my brother and the rest of my family then I think the celebrating is done *phew*

My favorite meditation beads (Elemental) sold yesterday *sigh*, so I've decided that I'm going to make myself a set LOL... I loved them so much I just have to! So that makes two that I'll have, I ended up taking my Triple Moon meditation beads (in a previous post) out of Etsy because I couldn't part with them. Plus I use them every day and sleep with them at night :D

Here are my two newest listings on Etsy. The Coral earrings are an addition to my Petite Earrings line, I didn't realize that I was almost sold out of them. I currently only have 2 left in my store so I need to add more. The other pair is Tourmalinated Quartz hoops. Wonderful earrings, I can't even tell you how many pairs of these I have for myself, with different stones of course. These are some of my hottest sellers among friends because they do not slip, fall out...with your hair up or down...they're always there. I always have to wear backs on earrings because they slip and fall out constantly but not this style....I love them!!

I don't want to...

sell these!! I'm so happy with the way they turned out, that I want to keep them for myself! I know I've said that before, but this time I'm completely serious!! I've titled these "Elemental". Each set of 6 stones and the Sterling silver charms represent each of the elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water.

Earth - Green Agate with Tourmalinated Quartz, and the Elemental charm is an Acorn.

Air - Yellow Jade with Quartz, and the Elemental charm is a Feather.

Fire - Fire Opal with Carnelian, and the Elemental charm is a Sun with a Carnelian drop.

Water - Sodalite with Quartz, and the Elemental charm is a Sea Shell.

The number "6" is a balanced number of harmony, beauty, and reconciliation corresponding to the Sun and the Universe.

It's fast approaching...

well at least my birthday is! I'll be 37 on Monday the 28th and for some reason I'm getting daily calls from my lovelies asking if I feel older...LOL wth! Nope not older at all...actually I love my birthdays and I've never had a problem with getting older. But I have ventured in to doing different things with my hair...it's currently black with midnight blue underneath! After 2 appointments and a total of 9 hours in an uncomfortable chair. Who knew dying my hair would take so long. First the blue turned out to be more of a teal color, which was a very pretty contrast with the black, but teal is just not my color. So on the second appointment we got it right and I even got some deep purples mixed in with the blue...love it! It'll be perfect for the FaerieWorlds Festival this summer :D Now I just have to figure out some outfits to wear...it's 3 days this year. I love the clothes from treehouse 28. Her clothes would be great for the fest!

The meditation/prayer beads are doing really well. I'm excited at how well they've been received on Etsy. I only have 2 left in my store, but I have a few custom orders in the works. I've met some really wonderful people as a result of these beads and I truly feel blessed!

Ohh and I wanted to tell Recycledideas thank you very much for your hint with the links on my photos! It's awesome! And I'm still loving Olive she's too adorable, and I may have to buy her for a birthday present to myself :D Ooo and her brother, he's sooo cute..jeez decisions decisions :D

I hope the New Year is treating everyone well...I'm quite pleased with how it's turning out so far and I look forward to what lies ahead. Time feels like it's flying by, so I'm gonna enjoy the ride!

It's been awhile....

since I've loved my blog, so I thought I'd do so! Life has been busy, between the day job, family and Etsy there doesn't seem to be alot of time left in the day. I'm not complaining though, I love doing what I do. Okay...not so much the day job...but I do love my family and of course Etsy. I've listed a few new items all available in my Etsy store . The first picture is a pair of Amethyst and Pearl earrings and the second is a bracelet that I've titled Goddess of the Sea.

I really enjoy making the meditation/prayer beads. Here's a couple of my newest ones that I've added to my store. The first set is Earth Goddess. The Goddess is made of wood and I've added, Red and Gold Tiger Eye, Mookaite Jasper, Mother of Pearl and Sterling Silver. The second is the Green Goddess. This one features a Raku Goddess, Fluorite, Quartz, Turquoise and Hematite.

Another set...

The Lifes Journey meditation beads (shown in a previous post) sold today, so I've listed a few more! Triple Moon and Goddess are the names of my new meditation/prayer beads. If the Triple Moon one is still there tomorrow I think I'm going to keep it for myself. I love it, and I love what they represent. Alot of thought, intent and energy goes into these beaded creations. They're all made with specific reasons, all to aid in connection or clarity during your time of meditation, prayer or ritual.
As of right now I'm still going to carry only a few of these in my shop as each one is a one of a kind piece with alot of energy put into making them. Besides I have some new gemstone briolettes dying to be made into a pair of earrings!

That didn't last long...

Within literally minutes of posting the meditation beads below they sold! I was amazed and ecstatic :D I've got a couple more in the works, but this is one that I've just listed today. I've named it Life's Journey. I used Jasper, Agate, Jet, Sterling Silver and it's accented by a Tree of Life charm. The Tree of Life is a very important aspect in the Druidic and Celtic lore. Trees provided a great source of substenance, food, shelter and fuel for warmth. They were also a connection to the world of the spirits, the ancestors and doorways into other worlds. I chose the stones for both their colors that are found in our trees and for their meanings.

This will be a hard one for me to part with not only because of the warm Forest tones, but because of it's purpose.

Completely new!

I've decided to try something new and add Meditation/Prayer beads to my Etsy store. I'm not sure how well they will do, but I love the whole concept and what they can offer to individuals. Here's my first one, it's called Triple Goddess.

The Goddess may be viewed in many aspects and many moods. The Triple Goddess resumes in herself the life stages of maiden, mother and crone detailed in the charm. I've made this using Rainbow Moonstone, Carnelian, Onyx and Sterling Silver. It's small enough to tuck into your pocket or purse, yet carries a wealth of meaning.

Some new pieces!

I've just recently added these to my shop. The one above is titled Framed and I've used Garnet gemstones and sterling silver. For the pair below, I used Cherry Quartz and sterling silver, I titled this pair Tears of Joy.

I'm happy to see 2007 go and I'm excited to see what 2008 will bring. I only have one goal for 2008 and that's just to keep doing what I'm doing .....working towards making my jewelry business my full time job. Other than that I didn't make any New Years resolutions...and that's a first for me!

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Years!
